Projects

The team members of Social Sage are experienced innovators who have designed and led marketing and product development for interactive content and games for industry leaders like Disney, Warner Bros., and Sony. We combine a deep understanding of social networking as well as web and games to design and manage the creation of a wide array of products.

The following are a just few of the past projects our team members have had a significant role in.

Disney Interactive Logo
We designed Dgamer as a social platform to unify Disney Interactive’s online community across all game titles and the Disney websites. It is a complete social network and game community for kids featuring customizable avatars (clothing, costumes, accessories), relationships, honors/achievements, leader boards, kid safe IM/chat, advertising, digital goods and commerce. It also includes our design for the "True Friends" synchronization system that will be unique to Disney.

WBR Logo
Our most recent project for Warner Bros. Records was to help put together and launch a host of community sites for bands on an extremely tight schedule. We not only helped develop every aspect of community for WBR, but also e-commerce and marketing efforts promoting events and products. Past projects have included marketing and promotions for many well known artists including REM, Green Day and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. SCEA Logo
We have a long history within SCEA working on many titles developing online infrastructure to support a customer base of more than 25 million. We have designed or developed community infrastructure integrating dynamic content between web and console. We integrated profiles, achievements, leagues, tournaments, forums, chat, in-game advertising and more into many of the first party online games SCEA has developed.

Playnet.com
WWIIOnline
presented some unique challenges blending the realms of virtual battlefield simulation with a real time MMO. The single shardless environment covering the entire planet and supporting several thousand simultaneous players was the first of its kind. Coming out in the heyday of EverQuest, WWIIOnline led the way in MMO infrastructure with a clustered server set and real time simulation
